Starting minimum $20.00 per hour and commensurate with experience.   The Outlet Department Leader supervises hourly Associates in his/her area of responsibility in the facility. The Department Leader works with his/her Site Leader, the facility leadership team, and external resources to achieve facility operational objectives that support the annual operating plan (aka Budget) and PDR Scorecard objectives and requirements. He or she makes decisions involving customers, suppliers, team members, operational issues, business planning, priority-setting, creating staff schedules, team member performance appraisals, compliance with company policies, and all areas of the business. This position demonstrates behaviors consistent with our Mission, Vision and Values, on behalf of Goodwill of Central & Southern Indiana.   Leadership roles require availability and flexibility within the site’s hours of operation. Develops and implements (with Site Leader approval) plans to grow and protect the business based on analysis. - Understands, forecasts and manages sales, controllable expenses and site needs (within budgets unless Site Leader approval is obtained to deviate with a strong business case), in a way that ensures Operating Income expectations are met. - Utilizes reports to identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions within site. - Ensures critical internal and external customer-supplier connections (e.g. to Stores, the Click facility, the Transportation Team, Facilities, etc.) are identified, understood, and managed in a way that ensures customer needs are being met and flow is balanced. Ensures training processes and systems are maintained and continuously improved to enable goal achievement in a high-attrition environment. - Actively identifies and eliminates or countermeasures barriers to goal attainment. - Manages a diverse workforce in a principle-based environment. - Maintains a positive culture of open professional communication, immediate resolution of issues, and healthy confrontation. - Plans, organizes, and directs all activities of department associates including training and developing, maintaining accountability, motivating, monitoring productivity, communicating, and managing performance. A signing bonus of $375 will be paid after 90 days of employment   Job Summary The Instructional Interventionist supports academic achievement for students attending Excel Center, meeting students where they are.  The Interventionist employs a student-centered approach effectively tailoring individual or small group instruction to students who are struggling academically.  Duties include monitoring, reporting, and communicating student progress and performance.  The position will work under the direct supervision of the leadership team who will oversee which students receive intervention as well as intervention strategies.  This position is funded by the ESSER grant to support the return to in-person instruction and school improvement goals while adhering to the Indiana State Standards.   Example Duties and Activities - Partners with teachers, administration, and families to help identify best practices for the delivery of high-quality instruction to individual students and small groups that meet academic standards and measure progress towards student mastery of the Indiana Academic Standards, Common Core State Standards, and 21st Century Skills.  - Works with school personnel to implement and utilize identified research-based interventions that specifically focus on individual student needs.  - Participates in meetings with teachers, coaches, and administration to discuss student placement and progress.  Assists with identifying students for placement in intervention groups. - Maintains, tracks, and communicates relevant student performance documentation and data to set improvement and/or achievement goals and to drive future evaluation and feedback.  Uses data to provide instruction to students and to bring their skills to mastery. - Provides diagnostic assessments for students as needed.   - Assists with student attendance keeping. - Develops personal professional/performance goals and action plans to reach goals.  Reflects on prior goals and makes adjustments to professional practice and goals.  - Works directly with staff to develop and implement school-wide goals around graduation outcomes, enrollment needs, student achievement, retention, etc. - Works with coaches and leadership staff to aid students’ progress toward graduation and postsecondary planning. - Assists staff with professional development, training, and goal setting. - Sets and maintains a high-performance culture for staff and students. - Participates in student recruitment, enrollment, and outreach efforts.   Required Competencies - Degree and Credential Requirements - NONE!
