The Excel Center® is operated by Goodwill Education Initiatives, Inc., a not-for-profit organization formed by Goodwill of Central & Southern Indiana.
The Excel Center we address the needs outside the classroom, provides free child care, offers free transportation assistance, and we give students the ability to balance school and work schedules. We allow students to learn at their own pace and complete their educational requirements throughout the year.
Under the direction of the school leader, the special education coordinator plans and provides for appropriate learning experiences for students with disabilities in accordance with a student’s Individual Education Program (IEP). The person in this position is responsible for creating a flexible program and learning environment that provides specialized instruction for students with disabilities, such that the students benefit from the general education curriculum to the greatest extent possible when supported with supplemental aides, accommodations, and other needed supports.This role demonstrates behaviors consistent with our Mission, Vision and Values, on behalf of Goodwill of Central & Southern Indiana.
School Hours: 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm Monday thur Thursday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm Friday
