  • POSITION SUMMARY

    The Regional Loss Prevention & Safety Manager will be responsible for the loss prevention, safety and security of our employees and customers.  The Manager will maximize sales and profits through Loss Prevention (LP), Asset Protection (AP), Safety/Security (S&S) and Risk Mgmt. (RM) programs. He/she will strengthen, develop, implement and execute all LP, AP, S&S and RM programs. Create awareness, training, support, and counsel relating to company Standards of Conduct.

    The Manager will also be responsible for achieving Profit & Loss (P&L) financial objectives for Sales Reducing Transactions (SRTs), Profit Enhancers (PEs), Inventory Mgmt. (Shrink/Waste), Expenses and Safety frequency & severity rates.

    Responsibilities 

    • Represent Goodwill in all interactions with other members of the Goodwill community, general public, state/federal agencies with character, integrity, courtesy, confidentiality, tact, consideration, and discretion.
    • Develop genuine professional partnerships at all levels of the company including Retail, Mission and Commercial Services.
    • Accountable for achieving Profit & Loss (P&L) financial objectives for Sales Reducing Transactions (SRTs), Profit Enhancers (PEs), Inventory Mgmt. (Shrink/Waste), Expenses and Safety frequency & severity rates.
    • Assist maximizing sales and profits through Loss Prevention (LP), Asset Protection (AP), Safety/Security (S&S) and Risk Mgmt. programs.
    • Analyze and act on data, metrics and dashboard trends relating to SRTs, PEs, shrink/waste, safety, expenses and reported incidents.
    • Actively engage in all aspects of asset protection/physical security installations, repairs and replacements.
    • Professional handling of partnerships and timeliness and execution of internal and external investigations and interviews.
    • Complete in a timely manner all internal and external investigation case forms, expenses and LP type audit reports.
    • Complete in a timely manner all assignments and projects.
    • Strengthen, develop, implement, and execute all of LP, AP, S&S and RM programs.
    • Objectively conduct, train, partner and complete on a timely manner LP site audits to identify compliance of Goodwill policies/procedures/philosophies.

     

    POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

    • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in similar field 5+ years equivalent LP, AP, S&S and RM work experience in lieu of a college degree
    • LP Certified (LPC), Certified Forensic Interviewer (CFI), Loss Prevention Qualified (LPQ) certifications are preferred
    • Wicklander-Zulawski or REID certification
    • Demonstrated and proven experience in high sales single-unit big box location or with multi-unit locations
    • Experience analyzing data, metrics and exception-based reporting
    • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions without bias; provide and implement solutions
    • Knowledge of Loss Prevention, Asset Protection, Physical Security, Alarms, CCTV systems
    • Basic knowledge of OSHA, environmental, health and safety regulatory compliance
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills
    • Physical ability to stoop, lift, reach, climb, bend, and stand for extended periods of time
    • Valid driver’s license, good driving record and current automobile insurance.
    • Ability to work weekends and some overnight travel
