  • POSITION SUMMARY

    Analyst’s primary role will be to create and modify business web applications built using C# Microsoft technologies. Depending on specific job, an analyst will work with the following technologies:

    SQL Server, .Net Framework, C#, WCF/Web services, SSRS, MS AX Dynamics, JQuery, MVC, HTML5

     

    Responsibilities 

    • Helps in developing project cost and benefit estimates to establish project worth. Develops alternative considerations leading to recommendations for new systems or changes to existing ones.
    • Plans the full range of programming actions needed to achieve desired end-results on complex problems under the direction of the Manager.
    • Develops physical, normalized, relational database models .
    • Installs, tests and validates 3rd party software packages and integrate with the company’s computing environment.
    • May lead large development projects under the direction of the Manager.
    • Performs application maintenance as required.
    • Gathers product requirements to perform the analysis and development of specifications.
    • Performs problem determination and resolution in the production environment.
    • Implements and debugs challenging application programming features both individually, and by guiding team members.
    • Takes a proactive role in communicating and advocating the consistent use of established company and industry standards.
    • Other duties may be assigned.

    POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

    • BA/BS or equivalent Microsoft certification and 4 years hands-on programming work
    • SQL Server 2005+
    • C#
    • HTML5
    • WCF / Web Services
    • SSRS
    • JQuery
    • Analytic thinker
    • Self-starter - takes initiative
    • Works well in ambiguity, can develop insightful solutions with incomplete information
    • Strong communication skills: verbal and written
    • Results-orientated and driven to achieve goals
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
    • Ability to create online help documents for end users.
    • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
    • Ability to lead development projects
    • Ability to mentor junior programmers
    • Ability to effectively understand the needs of the end user and translate into system requirements
