Goodwill Foundation Scholarship Intern

Mission Services
The intern will receive a stipend for his/her work.


The Goodwill Foundation Scholarship Intern will assist with the coordination and organization of all activities related to scholar selection, fund disbursement, and celebration.



  • Collection and organization of all scholarship applications
  • Communicating with board members, staff, and volunteers on the selection committee to organize scholarship interviews
  • Ensuring all scholarship nominators have the resources their nominees need to attend scholarship interviews
  • Coordinating with accounting departments for proper dispersal of funds
  • Writing reports and success stories regarding scholarship recipients
  • Assisting in planning and coordinating the Scholarship Reception
  • Organize JMM and IndyMet Scholarship selection


  • The Goodwill Scholarship Internship is part-time and will be open to high school graduates, college students, graduate students (current or recent grads.) Relevant areas of study could include social services, fundraising, nonprofit and/or other related fields.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently (self-guided)
  • Ability to think analytically and ask questions
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience planning events a plus


The intern will receive a stipend for his/her work. Payment schedule will be discussed.  The internship will run approximately 20 hours per week during his/her spring semester which includes flexible scheduling.
